What to Expect
Consultation
We consult with the farmer and their local vets to gather herd history and insights from the feed company.
Formulate
Present suggestions and formulate a custom premix.
Deliver Premix
Once approved by the farmer and vets, we manufacture then deliver the premix to either the feed manufacturer or directly to the farm.
Follow-up Visits
Follow-up visits with farmers.
Adjust Formula
Adjust formulation as needed over time.
ABOUT US
Who We Are
Nelson Landbou Verspreiders (PTY) LTD t/a Agri-Vet was first started in the Eastern Cape in February 1999 by Marius Nelson after resigning from the National Dept. of Agriculture.
Agri-Vet was initially a small family business that distributed nutritional, veterinary and animal health products.
The initial focus was primarily on providing these required supplies to the dairy industry. Marius’ customer focus led to the development of close relationships with his clients, the farmer.
Examining each of his customer’s needs on an individual basis led to him offering organic based custom pre-mix solutions to his customers, a service which nobody else was providing at the time.
